One of the best things about ArtStorefronts.com is their Print on Demand (POD) services. With this feature, you can order prints of your artwork without having to worry about inventory or shipping. This makes it easy for you to sell your artwork online! It's also a huge advantage over other platforms like Shopify, which do not offer this service. Sure you could hack together Printful or some other printing services, but ASF provides more printing options and already has everything ready out of the box. Plus, their customer service is outstanding!
Art Storefronts.com is a great platform for artists looking to sell their art online. This platform has a wide range of features that are designed to help you sell more art. Some of these features include:
-AR Wall Preview: This feature allows customers to view your artwork in augmented reality before making a purchase.

-A Lightweight CRM: This feature helps you keep track of your customers' orders and contact information.
These are just a few examples of the many features that ArtStorefronts.com offers to help artists sell more art!
They also have a ton of programming and content.
Art Storefronts offers a variety of outlets to teach artists how to sell their art, and one of these places is their Art Marketing Podcast. This podcast is designed to help artists learn the best ways to market their art. It covers a wide range of topics, from how to create an effective artist website to how to use social media to market your art.
The podcast is available to the public, but the really good stuff is shared in the private, member-only workshops.
This workshops are a great resource for artists who are looking to grow their art business and need that classroom feel to really let things sink in. They provide valuable weekly classes that can help you increase your sales and reach more customers. The hosts are experienced professionals who know the ins and outs of the art marketing world, and they share their knowledge in a way that is easy to understand. It can be a bit preachy, but they've have the data to know what works and usually right on the money with their advice.
Art Storefronts also offers an "Art Business University" which is their Udemy-like educational platform. It's great if you really want to dive into learning the business side of the art business with a "go at your own pace".
They also have a detailed "Art Marketing Calendar" which provides artists with marketing success plans for every day of the month!
Overall, Art Storefronts is a great platform for artists looking to sell their art online. This platform has a wide range of features that are designed to help you sell more art.
Let's take a closer look at Art Storefronts' pricing structure:
Art Storefronts offers three different pricing plans: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each has their varying degrees of benefits, but it seems most people opt for the feature-rich Gold plan.
Now, with Art Storefronts, you don't have to worry about setting up your website. They'll do it for you! This makes it easy for artists to get started selling their art online. Art Storefronts also offers website management and updates for their artists. This is a huge advantage over other platforms which are only tools (no white glove). With Art Storefronts, you can easily update your website with new artwork, products, and information without even logging in to the site. They manage any updates you request, making it easy for you to keep your website up-to-date.
Art Storefronts.com has always been a great platform for artists to sell their art online, but now they've taken it one step further with their new "Niche Masterclass" program. This class teaches artists and photographers how to effectively pivot into new niches to find profitable audiences to buy your art. The class is taught by experts in the field, that have sold thousands of dollars of art and have tons of e-commerce experience.
If you're an artist looking for ways to expand your business, the Art Storefronts "Niche Masterclass" is definitely worth checking out!
Now for the cons...
Art Storefronts is not the cheapest option for selling your art online.
Why do we think Art Storefronts not the cheapest option? Probably because they give you the highest likelihood of success. Very few other platforms offer their level of support and consistent growth. It costs a lot to make us artists and photographers happy...we're a picky bunch! This is what happens when a company niches down. You pay more , but everything is tailored to your exact business type. This is why ASF is our platform of choice.
Now that's not to say it's a silver bullet. It's not as easy as just uploading your art and waiting for the sales to come in. In order to sell art online, you actually have to put in the work to find the niches that are going to sell. This means doing your research and targeting your audience correctly. Again, their 4-week "Niche Masterclass" course is worth paying the price to become a member by itself.
There's a lot of information to keep up with!
Art Storefronts' "Art Marketing Calendar" is (for now) a one-size fits all type of strategy. We wish there were Marketing Calendars for various levels of expertise (i.e. beginner, advanced, etc). I've heard they have plans to start offering more tailored approaches but, for the most part, the calendar works if you follow it.
It can be overwhelming trying to keep up with all the new marketing information that's available. Art Storefronts is no exception, with their detailed "Art Marketing Vault" providing artists with marketing success plans for every marketing situation or platform (Facebook groups, Instagram Reels, email marketing, Live art shows, you name it)
While it's a great starting point for beginners, they are constantly adding and updating the playbooks to make sure that their marketing plan is the best it can be. This means that their marketing plan is always evolving, and artists can benefit from this by staying up-to-date on the latest changes. So, you can feel overwhelmed to start, but their general advice is to not try to drink from the firehose and just learn over time.
Art Storefronts.com is a great platform for artists to sell their art online. The company offers website management and updates, as well as an "Art Marketing Calendar" that provides detailed marketing success plans for everyone on the platform. They also have a new "Niche Masterclass" program that teaches artists how to effectively pivot into new niches to find profitable audiences to buy your art.
The only downside of ArtStorefronts.com is that it's not the cheapest option for selling your art online. However, with their level of support and consistent growth, we believe it's worth paying the price.
